Some of the shopping experiences found in the central Victoria neighbourhood communites include visits with farmers markets, outdoor coffee houses, used book stores, antique shops, gift stores, etc. Areas like Antique Row, Fairfield Village and Cook Street Village are such areas. The south central Victoria area of the downtown core is next to the Inner Harbour and continues north following the line of commercial stores into the shopping district and downtown. The central Victoria streets offer many shoppng experiences as many of the stores and are housed in heritage buildings. Some of the most interesting bistros and eclectic shops are found in the alleys in the unique little markets. The central part of Victoria BC is where most go for any shopping needs because of the good selection of malls and stores proximity to each other. |
